Will the tracker drain my van battery?
No. Our trackers draw minimal power (typically less than 50mA) and won't affect your van's battery. They're designed for continuous operation.
Can drivers see or remove the tracker?
The tracker is fitted covertly and hardwired to the vehicle, out of sight during normal use, so it is not something that can be tampered with or removed without specialist tools and knowledge. You should still tell your drivers it is fitted — see the next question.
Do I need to tell my drivers about tracking?
Yes. UK employment law requires you to inform employees that company vehicles are tracked. This is typically covered in employment contracts or vehicle use policies.
What happens if my van is stolen?
You can see your van's location in the app in real time, so you can give the police an exact location rather than a description.
Does the tracker follow my tools too?
No. The tracker is fitted to the van, so it follows the van. If the van is taken with your tools inside, you can see where it goes in the app. Tools taken out of the van are not tracked separately.
