Useful when the car is parked
Most first-car knocks happen when nobody is in the vehicle. The F70 Pro supports several parking modes, and we agree which suits you when we book the installation.
- Motion and impact detection — starts recording when it senses movement or a knock nearby.
- Time-lapse recording — a condensed record over a long park, using far less card space.
- Energy-saving impact recording — a low-drain mode that wakes only for a detected impact.
- Smart low-power behaviour — protects the camera when the cabin gets very hot.
Parking surveillance needs a suitable hardwired or OBD power supply. We will confirm what your installation includes before the day, so nothing is assumed.
Safety-camera alerts, because we fit the GPS version
The version fitted in the New Driver Package includes the external GPS antenna. That enables speed and red-light safety-camera alerts, and adds speed, time and location data to recordings — genuinely useful for someone still learning unfamiliar roads.
GPS is not built into the base camera. It is an external antenna, and it is included in the version we fit.
Built for the inside of a car
- Supercapacitor power rather than a conventional battery, with a thermal sensor built in.
- Automatic thermal shut-off if the cabin gets extreme, protecting the camera.
- Anti-file-corruption file management, so a sudden power cut is less likely to spoil a recording.

Professionally fitted from day one
A dashcam on a suction cup that falls off in August is worth very little. We come to you and fit it properly.

The footage is yours
Dashcam footage is stored locally on the camera's memory card. It is not uploaded to Trackerman, and we cannot view it remotely. The vehicle owner controls access through the card, the app or a desktop viewer.
Anyone who regularly drives the vehicle should be told that a dashcam and a tracker are fitted. We give the driver a card at installation explaining what is fitted and what it records — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle tracking data.

The camera is half of it
The package pairs the F70 Pro with a concealed vehicle tracker. They are separate systems doing separate jobs, and neither can see the other.

Is the camera included in the New Driver Package?
Yes. The Thinkware F70 Pro is fitted as standard in the £250 New Driver Package, along with a concealed vehicle tracker, professional mobile installation and 12 months of tracking.
Does it record when parked?
The F70 Pro supports parking modes including motion and impact detection, time-lapse and energy-saving recording. Parking surveillance needs a suitable hardwired or OBD power supply, so we agree with you at booking whether your installation includes it.
Does the fitted version include GPS and safety-camera alerts?
Yes. The version we fit in the New Driver Package includes the external GPS antenna, which enables speed and red-light safety-camera alerts and adds speed, time and location data to recordings.
How do I view or download footage?
Through the Thinkware Dash Cam Link app over the camera's built-in Wi-Fi, or by taking the memory card out and reading it on a computer. The footage is yours and stays on the card.
Can Trackerman see my recordings?
No. Dashcam footage is stored locally on the camera's memory card. It is never uploaded to us and we cannot view or retrieve it remotely. That is a deliberate separation from the tracking side of the package.
What happens when the memory card fills up?
It comes with a 32GB card. The camera records in a loop, overwriting the oldest ordinary footage first. Clips saved around a detected impact are stored separately so routine driving does not overwrite them. If something matters, copy it off the card promptly.
Is it professionally installed?
Always. We come to you, position the camera so it does not obstruct the driver's view, route the cabling behind the trim and test it before we leave.
